Entrepreneurship is an economic activity in which an individual solely or with a partner, with a specific capital investment and taking risks, embarks into a business venture with the objective of profit generation. Social entrepreneurship is a type of entrepreneurship in which traditional entrepreneurship is combined with social responsibility. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy implies the level of self-confidence to enter into an entrepreneurial venture, while entrepreneurial intentions are defined as goals that a person develops during life and that are influenced by the environment. The paper presents the results of empirical research that were obtained based on a survey of two groups of people: persons with disabilities and persons without disabilities on the topic of entrepreneurial intentions and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Various attitudes and opinions of individuals were expressed about the entry of persons with disabilities into the entrepreneurial world and what difficulties and obstacles they face on that path. In the thesis can be found two different opinions of the two groups of respondents. Respondents mostly agree that persons with disabilities need courage to engage in entrepreneurship because they face a greater number of difficulties compared to persons without disabilities, as well as various prejudices. They also consider that persons with disabilities need some help from institutions as well as a greater dose of self-confidence.
