In this thesis, the implementation of digital entrepreneurship in a startup company was analyzed. In general, the term entrepreneurship refers to an economic activity by which individuals, with a certain investment of capital and assumption of risk, enter into a business venture with the aim of generating profit. Nowadays, a modernized approach called digital entrepreneurship is increasingly associated with the concept of classic entrepreneurship. Namely, it refers to the creation and management of companies that primarily operate in a digital environment. It involves using technology and digital platforms to develop innovative products or services. A startup company is a newly established business entity in the development phase with the intention of searching for new business methods and bringing innovations. It is actually a company designed for rapid growth. In most cases, startups operate in the field of technology and communication. Most often, they start their business with high costs and limited income, and therefore are financed from different sources. Hiroma Design is an information technology startup founded in 2019 by two spouses, whose main activities are the development of video games, 3D projection and the development of augmented and virtual reality applications. Their startup is part of the first gaming incubator in Croatia. The business of Hiroma Design and the advantages and disadvantages of this type of business are presented in the research in the continuation of the thesis.
