The concept of eco-labeling is the popularization of environmentally friendly products on the market and is crucial in promoting sustainable development. Due to the growing environmental awareness of consumers, and international and national regulations, companies are consistently developing products and processes with a significantly less negative impact on the environment than other products and services for the same purpose. Eco-labeling is the issuance of a sign or symbol by an independent and impartial third party to those products and services that have been proven environmentally safe. Consumer preferences for eco-labeled products and services and their awareness of the eco-labeling system is an important factor that determines the effectiveness of the eco-labeling concept, which also allows the manufacturer to compete. The introduction of eco-labels emphasizes innovation in production processes and Product Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to achieve circular economy results, which is one of the main items for achieving sustainable development globally in all sectors.
