Metal industry in Europe is constantly developing and is searching for new ways to improve its business. Metal surface finishing includes a coat of paint which protects metal from corrosion and makes it esthetically pleasing. Pressures of European union, that is, the pressures of the environmental legislation play a big role in looking for new ways of surface finishing of metal which are environmental friendly. Painting is an old technique in Europe as in Croatia, that is, Međimurje. Međimurje is considered a head county in metal processing in Croatia and powder coating technique is getting more popular in that area. Powder coating technique is more and more developing and the demand is getting higher. Powder coating is a technique of surface protection of metal from corrosion. It is based on surface coating of powder and polymerization at a certain temperature. It doesn't have a negative impact on the environment and is more durable, even and cost efficient of classic metal painting. Project management includes project activity to insure the project goals are met, and that by applying knowledge, skills, technique and tools. Project is a business activity witch is not typical and it does not happen everyday rather as needed, apropos unique and temporary activity which has a goal to transform certain organization input into output. Business plan includes description of business idea and measures which are necessary to start a business. It includes market analysis, tehnological-tehnical, organization and economic-financial analysis of the business and if it is cost efficient.
