Sažetak
This paper sets out to explore the interplay between behavioural economics, investor sentiment, and market anomalies, in order to provide a comprehensive framework to better understand investment patterns and market dynamics. Behavioural economics, which integrates cognitive and psychological insights into existing economic models, reveals how investor biases and emotional decision-making affects the sentiment of the investor. By highlighting specific cognitive biases, such as anchoring bias, loss aversion, and herd mentality, this study aims to demonstrate that these investors faults contribute to flawed and ill-informed decision-making and, in turn, contributes to the creation of market anomalies. By conducting this research, there is the potential to assist investors in ensuring efficient investment decisions are made. Behavioural economics offers the opportunity to explore continuously evolving landscapes in which biases and emotions forever pose challenges in the investment landscape.
