Sažetak | Business negotiation has been defined with many different theories during the past, it is a precondition of every agreement where two or more different parties negotiate, including interactional process of communication where one side has something that other side wants and vice versa. This paper is based on specific type of business negotiation, negotiations in sports management, with focus on football where the student will explain importance and process of negotiation, what is consists of and why is it needed. Negotiation is an extremely important part of business in sports, which is one of the leading activities around the globe. Method that will be used are interviews with professionals who have a long-standing experience to gain insight in the world of negotiations in sports. Firstly, in the introduction part the main hypothesis of the paper will be outlined, also the reader will get the overall awareness of what the thesis will be about so they can follow it more easily as it goes on. After that, theoretical hallmarks in negotiation are to be described, the focus will then be shifted to negotiation in sports and, the most popular and most played sport in the world, which is football. Next, interviews, together with the used methodology will be analyzed, what will enable to compose a neat goal of the thesis which is to provide useful knowledge, hence to understand how negotiation works in sports, what are the obstacles, what are the gains and last but, not least to recognize possibilities and ways in which the business negotiation in sports could improve what will be clarified in the part for perspective and recommendation for negotiations in the future. To sum all the mentioned, a conclusion will be bestowed. |
