Abstract
Ovim radom se ukazuje na mogucnosti korištenja internih izvještaja u funkciji što kvalitetnijeg upravljanja profitabilnošcu banke. Kroz teorijski dio prikazan je racunovodstveni sustav banke, eksterni i interni izvještaji koje banke izrauje. Naglasak je stavljen na izvješca o poslovanju banke te izracunu koeficijenta profitabilnosti. Na primjeru Primorske banke d.d. Rijeka detaljno su prikazana i analizirana izvješca o poslovanju te izracunati koeficijenti profitabilnosti koji su usporeeni s koeficijentima bankarskog sustava Republike Hrvatske. Temeljem analiziranih izvješca dani su prijedlozi za unaprjeđivanje izvještajnog sustava u cilju boljeg upravljanja profitabilnošću banke.
Abstract (english)
This paper points out the possibilities of internal reports’ usage in order to manage more effectively the bank’s profitability. Through the theoretical part, the accounting system of banks is presented as well as the external and internal reports that banks are making. The emphasis is on the bank's business reports and the calculation of profitability coefficients. Primorska banka d.d. is used as an example for detailed presentation and analysis of business reports and calculation of profitability coefficients, that are compared with the coefficients of the Republic Croatia's banking system. Based on the analyzed reports, suggestions for upgrading the reporting system are made in order to improve managing the bank's profitability.
