Abstract | Do današnjeg dana, žene rade u velikim organizacijama više od pet desetljeća. S vremenom, pridonijele su rastu, kulturi i učinku raznih organizacija. Potrebe današnjih tržišta mogu biti zadovoljene samo ako organizacijske jedinice imaju sposobnost procijeniti važnost rodne raznolikosti i implementirati istu u svoje timove. Kako su se žene penjale na korporativnoj ljestvici tijekom proteklih desetljeća, tako su dobivale vodeće uloge i dodijeljene su im više organizacijske odgovornosti. Žene na vodećim pozicijama susreću se s problemima koji se odnose na rukovođenje, vršenje ovlasti, pružanje smjernica i strateških inicijativi. Istovremeno, žene na menadžerskim pozicijama često se susreću s problemima među nadređenima, kolegama i podređenima oba spola. Žene na vodećim pozicijama su nositelji ključnih uloga i susreću se s raznovrsnim dilemama. Ove dileme s kojima se suočavaju žene su usmjerene prvenstveno na društveno-kulturni kontekst, organizacijsku kulturu te na vanjsko poslovno okruženje. Često se postavljaju pitanja vezana uz održavanje granica između osobnih i profesionalnih uloga i odnosa, uz učinkovitost na radnom mjestu i održavanje balansa između privatnog i poslovnog života. Kako bi se moglo doći do određenog zaključka, u radu su postavljene hipoteze čije će testiranje i rezultati pomoći u dolasku do odgovora na sve češća pitanja današnjice vezana uz ženske stilove vodstva. |
Abstract (english) | Until today, women have been working in big organizations for more than fifty years. With time, they have contributed to the growth, culture, and performance of many organizations. Today's market has certain needs which can be satisfied only if organizational units can evaluate the importance of gender diversity and implement it in their teams. Women have climbed on the corporational ladder over the last decades, which resulted in getting leading roles and being assigned more organizational responsibility. Women in leading positions are encountering problems which are referring to leadership, execution of an authority, giving guidelines, and strategic initiatives. Simultaneously, women in managerial positions have been encountering often problems regarding superiors, colleagues, and subordinates of both sexes. Women in leading roles are carriers of key roles and have been encountering different dilemmas. This dilemma with which women keep getting into touch, is primarily oriented toward social-cultural context, organizational culture, and on the external business environment. Often, questions are asked regarding keeping boundaries between personal and professional roles and relationships, efficiency in the workplace, and keeping a balance between personal and business life. To get a certain conclusion, in the final thesis, there are defined hypotheses that are going to be tested and those results will help to obtain certain answers regarding more often questions of today that are connected to women's leadership styles. |
