Abstract
Touristic sector is one of the most important sectors within Croatia and good functioning of it is very important. Numerous firms similar to Valamar Riviera Plc. are contributing to the development of touristic sector in Croatia. Since business negotiations are an important factor of getting the results, it means that placing the right individuals to negotiate is also of great significance. Business negotiation besides other factors, also depend on the leadership power types used during the negotiations. Each firm uses their own way of achieving results based on the five leadership power types (legitimate, referent, coercive, expert and reward power). How does it look in practice and which leadership power types are mostly used, will be shown on the example of Valamar Riviera Plc.
