Abstract
Temeljna misao koja je kroz ovo istraživanje potvrđena je da inovacije utječu na uspješnost i konkurentnost na tržištu te se putem inovacija postiže bolja pozicija na tržištu. Kroz rad je objašnjeno što su inovacije i koje vrste inovacija postoje te kako utječu na konkurentnost poduzeća, ovdje konkretno Apple-a. Apple se nalazi na vodećem mjestu po forbesovoj ljestvici uspješnosti poduzeća, prihodi i dohodak po pojedinom proizvodu je u kontinuiranom porastu, broj korisnika odnosno kupaca je također u porastu te je apple brend postao jedan od statusnih simbola. S obzirom na cijenu i kvalitetu appleovi se proizvodi smatraju visoko vrijednim, a konstante inovacije i unaprjeđenja proizvoda povećava konkurentnost na tržištu. U 2020. Godini je ispred Apple-a među 500 najvrjednijih svjetskih kompanija došao Google, što je s obzirom na situaciju u svijetu razumljivo, no povratkom na „staro normalno“ za očekivati je i ponovno preuzimanje prednosti Apple-a.
Abstract (english)
The basic idea that has been confirmed through this research is that innovations affect performance and competitiveness in the market, and through innovation a better position in the market is achieved. The paper explains what innovations are and what types of innovations exist and how they affect the competitiveness of companies, here specifically apple. Apple is at the forefront of forbes' company performance scale, revenue and revenue per product are on the rise, the number of users and customers is also on the rise and the apple brand has become one of the status symbols. In terms of price and quality, apple products are considered highly valuable, and constant innovation and product improvement increases market competitiveness. In 2020, Google was ahead of apple among the 500 most valuable companies in the world, which is understandable given the situation in the world, but a return to the "old normal" is to be expected to take over the advantage of Apple again.
