Jedinice lokalne i regionalne samouprave, odnosno općine, gradovi ili županije, prikupljaju financijska sredstva kojim financiraju svoje kapitalne projekte izdavanjem dužničkih vrijednosnih papira, municipalnih obveznica. Izdavanjem municipalne obveznice općine, gradovi ili županije, kao izdavatelji, se obvezuju da će u određenom vremenskom razdoblju vratiti glavnicu, kao i kamate koje se najčešće isplaćuju polugodišnje. Abstract (english)
Local and regional self-government units, i.e. municipalities, cities or counties, raise funds to finance their capital projects by issuing debt securities, municipal bonds. By issuing municipal bonds, municipalities, cities or counties, as issuers, undertake to repay the principal over a specified period of time, as well as the interest that is usually paid semiannually.
