Abstract
U ovom radu nastoji se analizirati tržište električne i toplinske energije u Republici Hrvatskoj te prikazati kako je energetski potencijal naše zemlje, osobito u području obnovljivih izvora energije, nedovoljno iskorišten. Također, prikazana je važnost obnovljivih izvora energije u proizvodnji toplinske i električne energije, poput razvoja prvih bioelektrana toplana u Osijeku i Sisku. Stoga se kod daljnjeg razvoja energetskog sustava treba usmjeriti na što više sličnih projekata, jer se tako pozitivno utječe na razvoj gospodarstva, a i na smanjenje emisija stakleničkih plinova. Hrvatska ima značajne mogućnosti, kada se radi o korištenju obnovljivih izvora energije. Bez obzira na činjenicu što obnovljivi izvori energije još uvijek čine relativno mali udio, njihova je važnost neupitna jer omogućavaju razvoj novih tehnologija i nagovješćuju prelazak na trajno održiv sustav opskrbe energijom. Projekti razvoja bioelektrana toplana u Osijeku i Sisku, koji za proizvodnju električne i toplinske energije koriste šumsku biomasu, potvrđuju činjenicu kako obnovljivi izvori energije trebaju zauzeti značajnu ulogu u razvoju budućeg energetskog sustava u Republici Hrvatskoj. Abstract (english)
This paper seeks to analyze the electricity and heat market in the Republic of Croatia and to show that our country's energy potential, especially in the field of renewable energy sources, is underutilized. Also, the importance of renewable energy sources in the production of heat and electricity is presented, such as the development of the first bio-power plants in Osijek and Sisak. Therefore, further development of the energy system should focus on as many similar projects as possible, as this will have a positive impact on the development of the economy and also on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Croatia has significant opportunities when it comes to the use of renewable energy sources. Regardless of the fact that renewable energy sources still account for a relatively small proportion, their importance is undeniable, as they enable new technologies to be developed and signal a shift to a permanently sustainable energy supply system. Projects for the development of biogas power plants in Osijek and Sisak, which use forest biomass to generate electricity and heat, confirm the fact that renewable energy sources should play a significant role in the development of the future energy system in the Republic of Croatia.
