This Bachelor Thesis finds its origins in the arrival of the author in the Republic of Croatia in the year 2015, his university education in the field of economics within Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Rijeka and its undergraduate study International Business as well as in the author's numerous fruitful conversational exchanges with his mentor/supervisor over the years. Being immersed in the business and economic panorama of contemporary Croatia, the author became motivated to make a concrete and helpful contribution during his undergraduate study. Hence, this Bachelor Thesis has required both serious work and time for reflection on the researched matter. Skills and knowledge obtained from the author’s methodical and attentive approach to study have been crucial for the writing of this Bachelor Thesis. All courses at the International Business undergraduate study have provided valuable insight and knowledge for this work, but it was harnessed, composed and put to good use primarily with the aid of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills obtained during the course Data Bases and partially during the course Informatics that were both held by the author’s mentor/supervisor. Within this Bachelor Thesis, the author provided basic concepts and information related to the subject in question, yet from various sources. In continuation, author also mentions the historical foundations on which this Bachelor Thesis is based and uses the previously mentioned knowledge to fulfil its aim and purpose. This Bachelor Thesis is concluded with the proposal of future developments of the author’s created economic database and by stating the degree of success it has achieved in fulfilling the set aim and accompanying purpose.
