Abstract
In this master thesis will be defined the impact of negotiation skills on successful negotiation in the example of optical sector in Zagreb County. The topic by itself is of crucial importance, because negotiation is one of the abilities thatforms profitable alliances, partnerships and some cooperative ventures. Negotiation is considered as a critical skill for professionals in this field since they have to handle complicated situations involving distributors, suppliers and other stakeholders. In the optical sector, reaching mutually beneficial deals that take into account the various interests of the parties concerned is frequently the key to successful talks. Strong social and problem solving abilities, along with a thorough awareness of the optical marketplace, put negotiators in a stronger position to overcome obstacles and achieve desirable results. The thesis seeks to identify the unique opportunities and problems that negotiators face in the optical industry of Zagreb County in order to succeed in further negotiation.
