In this work, the main idea will be the competitiveness of Rimac Group company. At the beginning of the paper, the general concept of competitiveness will be explained and what affects the competitiveness of a company. This is followed by an explanation of how research and development are related to competitiveness, and the importance of investing in this process is indicated to achieve a higher level of competitiveness of the company. Of course, it is very difficult to carry out the research and development process without the latest technology, which is also the key to a high level of competitiveness. The company Rimac Group operates in the automotive industry and differentiates itself greatly from its competitors based on an educated and high-quality workforce and the latest technology developed in unprecedented production facilities. For Rimac Grupa to achieve such a level of competitiveness, it uses the possibility of investing in the Formula Student project, which is of an engineering-educational nature. In this project, young engineers who, during their academic education, build cars with motor or electric drive and with the possibility of autonomous driving. The purpose of this project is to improve already acquired knowledge and develop critical thinking and finding technical solutions. Rimac Group invests in this project by cooperating with many Formula Student teams around the world, providing them with financial, material, and advisory assistance. In this way, the Rimac Group prepares students to be competitive on the labor market, but also tests its components on cars in different conditions.
