Abstract
U ovome radu istražene su politike dekarbonizacije u odabranim zemljama Europske unije koje su usmjerene na redukciju emisija stakleničkih plinova u različitim sektorima, kao ključnih pokretača klimatskih promjena. Sukladno tome, objašnjeni su opći ciljevi dekarbonizacije i opisani su ključni elementi paketa „Spremni za 55%“ koji je dio Europskog zelenog plana. Također, analizirani su sektorski pristupi dekarbonizacije i njihove gospodarske implikacije te je provedena regresijska analiza povezanosti između emisija stakleničkih plinova i godišnjih razina BDP-a po stanovniku u zemljama Europske unije. Na kraju rada predložene su smjernice za unaprjeđenje specifičnih sektorskih politika dekarbonizacije u kontekstu ostvarenja strateških ciljeva Europskog zelenog plana do 2050. godine.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the decarbonization policies in selected countries of the European Union, which are aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in various sectors, as key drivers of climate change, are investigated. Accordingly, the general goals of decarbonization are explained and the key elements of the "Ready for 55%" package, which is part of the European Green Plan, are described. Also, sectoral approaches to decarbonization and their economic implications were analyzed, and a regression analysis of the connection between greenhouse gas emissions and annual levels of GDP per capita in the countries of the European Union was performed. At the end of the paper, guidelines were proposed for the improvement of specific sectoral decarbonization policies in the context of achieving the strategic goals of the European Green Plan until 2050.
