Abstract
Krajem 2019. godine izbija virusna bolest COVID-19 koja uzrokuje krizu te velike promjene u domaćem i stranom gospodarskom sustavu i bruto domaćem proizvodu. Bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) predstavlja tržišnu vrijednost svih finalnih roba i usluga proizvedenih u nekoj zemlji tijekom danog razdoblja. Sastavnice bruto domaćeg proizvoda nekog gospodarstva su osobna potrošnja, državna potrošnja, bruto investicije i neto izvoz. Cilj ovoga rada je utvrditi utjecaj pandemije COVID-19 na BDP i njegove sastavnice te utvrđivanje ovisnosti sastavnica BDP-a o ukupnom BDP-u. Razlikuju se tri pristupa mjerenja BDP-a: pristup outputa, pristup trošenja te pristup dohodaka od proizvodnih čimbenika. Ovim radom utvrđeno je da postoji velik utjecaj pandemije na BDP i sve njegove sastavnice. Osobna potrošnja kućanstava se smanjila, a državna potrošnja se povećala. Bruto investicije rastu i to većom stopom nego prije izbijanja pandemije a neto izvoz ima značajan pad. Također je utvrđeno da najveći utjecaj na povećanje BDP-a među njegovim sastavnicama ima državna potrošnja, a najmanji utjecaj na BDP ima izvoz.
Abstract (english)
At the end of 2019, the COVID-19 viral disease broke out, causing a crisis and major changes in the domestic and foreign economic system and gross domestic product. Gross domestic product (GDP) is the market value of all final goods and services produced in a country during a given period. The components of the gross domestic product of an economy are personal consumption, government consumption, gross investment, and net exports. The aim of this paper is to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on GDP and its components and to determine the dependence of GDP components on GDP. There are three approaches to measuring GDP: the approach to output, the approach to spending, and the approach to income from factors of production. This paper found that there is a large impact of the pandemic on GDP and all its components. Personal consumption of households decreased, and government consumption increased. Gross investment is growing at a higher rate than before the pandemic and net exports have fallen significantly. It was also found that the largest impact on GDP growth among its components has government spending, and the smallest impact on GDP has exports.
