Abstract
U Islamske investicijske fondove ulažu investitori kako bi ostvarili dobit prateći pravila Šerijata, islamskog vjerskog zakona koji uređuje sve aspekte ljudskog života. Ulaganje u investicijske fondove je ulaganje u tržište kapitala. Investicijski fondovi mogu biti otvorenog i alternativnog tipa. Islamske komercijalne banke primjer su depozitarnih institucija, odnosno predstavljaju financijske posrednike koji uglavnom prihvaćaju sredstva (depozite) od štediša (kreditora) i osiguravaju sredstva potrošačima (dužnicima) putem kredita i kupnje vrijednosnih papira, dok islamske investicijske banke ne prikupljaju depozite od štediša već promoviraju i prodaju vrijednosne papire koje je izdala neka kompanija, direktno investitorima. Islamske banke su najznačajniji segment islamskih financija, ali i cjelokupne islamske financije funkcioniraju na istim načelima. Cilj islamskog bankarskog sustava je smanjiti nezaposlenost, smanjiti dugove i sve dovesti do blagostanja te imati ravnotežu u društvu.
Abstract (english)
Investors invest in Islamic investment funds to make a profit by following the rules of Sharia, the Islamic religious law that regulates all aspects of human life. Investing in investment funds is investing in the capital market. Investment funds can be open or alternative type. Islamic commercial banks are an example of depository institutions, they represent financial intermediaries that mainly accept funds (deposits) from depositors (creditors) and provide funds to consumers (debtors) through loans and purchase of securities, while Islamic investment banks do not collect deposits from depositors but promote and sell securities issued by a company, directly to investors. Islamic banks are the most important segment of Islamic finance, but all Islamic finance also operates on the same principles. The goal of the Islamic banking system is to reduce unemployment, reduce debts, and all lead to well-being and have balance in society.
