Abstract
This research paper will conduct a research on the pharmaceutical sector and the significance it has on the domestic and global scale. The analysis will be divided in 3 parts. The first part will cover the theoretical analysis of the short explanation what pharmaceutical sector is, impacts it has on the world, and the investments it has to make for further improvements. The second part of the paper will cover the comparative analysis of the pharmaceutical sector in Croatia, short analysis on the top producers and distributors Pliva d.o.o, JGL d.d and Belupo d.d and the SWOT analysis of the industry. The last part of the analysis will be the business case analysis, which will include the whole process of investment cycle of the company JGL, and legislative aspects in Croatia for this business. The analysis will determine the successfulness of the project with methods such as feasibility and project identification, and sensitivity analysis.
