Negotiation is present in all phases of life, we negotiate even if we are not even aware of it. Negotiations meet the needs of the negotiators in a decent way, while business customs are considered the rules of doing business in the business world. Business customs exist to make business easier and provide answers to a number of questions about what to wear for a business meeting, lunch, how to sign an email, whether women have to get up when dating and many other questions. Communication is considered very important in every part of the organization, without communication it is not possible to survive in the market and it is considered the bloodstream of the organization. In this paper, in accordance with the stated topic, the topic of negotiation is discussed, what are the tactics and strategies of negotiation and the distributive and integrative way of negotiation. The following describes business negotiations, what a negotiating team is, and how it is negotiated in the Republic of Croatia and what collective agreements mean. Furthermore, business customs are mentioned, as well as everything about meeting and presenting, business attire, business lunch, e-mail and telephone conversation, occasions and gifts, and what are the business customs in the Republic of Croatia. At the very end of the paper, communication and business communication are explained.
