This thesis deepens the knowledge about the research on the methods and strategies impacting the national economy of the United States, focusing on the music industry. The theoretical framework was written following the main segments of the music industry, connecting its sectors with the factors responsible for the developments and changes in the field of national economy. This study clarifies the contributions of the music industry to GDP, employment, and international trade by looking at historical data, industry reports, and economic indicators. The thesis emphasizes the industry's indirect benefits, like the development of jobs in related industries and tourism, and its direct financial inputs through revenue creation. Research also explores how digital transformation and technology improvements have shaped the modern music scene while focusing on the shift from physical to streaming sales. In addition, the analysis looks at frameworks and policies that impact industry dynamics, evaluating how government support and intellectual property laws assist or disturb economic progress. This study intends to provide a detailed knowledge of the link between the music industry and the larger US economy through quantitative and qualitative analysis, allowing deeper insights for academic scholars, industry stakeholders, and policymakers.
